Lyngsfjord Adventure offers high quality adventures in the Lyngen area in Northern Norway, right outside the capital of the north – the city of Tromsø. The Lyngen area and Tromsø is located far north of the Arctic Circle, on the edge of the Lapland tundra. Thousand meter high mountains fall vertically into the deep fjords, giving the landscape a dramatic signature that you will not find anywhere else in Europe.

Flights and hotels

Tromsø is easily accessible by several daily flights from the international airport in Oslo, the Norwegian capital. Low price tickets are available from the airlines SAS and Norwegian. Tromsø Airport is located a 10-minute drive from downtown Tromsø.

Lyngsfjord Adventure is not a tour operator. We specialize in outdoor, nature-based adventures. But you can easily book your own accommodation. We provide all necessary transport by minibus or bus from the city centre to the locations of the adventures. Return transportation is always included in our prices.

From your hotel in the compact city centre, there are a wide variety of interesting and exciting options within walking distance.

Visit the unique aquarium Polaria, where you can see the bearded seals and learn about the Arctic Ocean and environment the fun way. Take the Cable car up to nearby mountain for a great view of the amazing landscape. Visit the Polar museum, where you can learn about the polar expeditions and history of the Arctic area. Choose your dinners from the many restaurants where you can enjoy everything from sushi to traditional Norwegian dishes.

We provide return transportation to the locations of the adventures from your hotel in downtown Tromsø, and this is always included in our prices.
