Lyngsfjord Adventure is kicking off the Summer season with two new exiting offers!
First up is the Husky Wagon Drive, where you have the opportunity to drive your own husky wagon pulled by 6 or 8 dogs, passing by the Lyngen Alps. Also, try out our Summer Fjord Fishing adventure on the fjord of Lyngen: Try your luck for Halibut, Cod, and other species. Last summer season, River Canoeing down the beautfiul Signaldalen river, passing the mountain of Otertind (called Northern Europe's Matterhorn), and Glacier Hiking in the Steindalen valley, was our two most popular summer adventures. We hope guests in the Tromsø region will make enjoy these adventures this year as well.
Our Summer Adventures are open and available every day from June 1st to September 30th.
Lyngsfjord Adventure welcomes you to a great experience in the land of the Midnightsun!

The hotel has a capacity of 140 guests, and offers hiring of fishing boats, a great restaurant with focus on local produce, and a selection of cabins for hire (from modest to luxurious). Sweet Films will use the captured film in making a promotion movie for Lyngsfjord Adventure. The commercial will showcase the amazing scenery of the Lyngsfjord area, and give insight to the services we provide. It wil be used by our collaborating European tour operators for online promotion of our high quality Arctic adventures.
The production of the film is part of a marketing project made possible when Lyngsfjord Adventure won the national NORINT award in January 2010. This was an award for being the most innovative adventure destination in Norway, including price money of NOK 500.000 for the purpose of promoting and improving our services. (See earlier update about Lyngsfjord Adventure winning the NORINT award.)
Production will be completed in the autumn of 2010. The end result will also be released on our web pages. Remember to check our web site in October!
