Lyngsfjord Adventure in the World Sleddog Championship
Sunday, 06 February 2011 13:57

Lyngsfjord Adventure's dog sled manager Tom Frode Johansen has been competing in the reknowned Femund Race during the last week. This year the race also doubles as the World Sleddog Championship. Tom Frode currently lies in 19th position in the long distance F600 race, and is about to start the final 100 km leg between Tolga and Røros. Note that Tom Frode is driving the same dogs that are usually on duty in Camp Tamok in the Dog Sledding Adventure.

We wish him the best of luck on the final leg. The Femund Race can be followed here.

Former Lyngsfjord Adventure guide Tonje Romfo is on Tom Frode's team this week, and has been kind enough to provide us with these photos of the action.
