We pick you up by bus or minibus in downtown Tromsø, by the Rica Ishavshotel. We then transport you on a 75-minute drive out in the wilderness, to our Camp Tamok, where our outdoor sauna and hot tub facilities are located. The outdoor sauna and hot tub are suitable for up to 20 guests, and are both heated with wood stoves. There are toilet facilities, separate for men and women. You bring your own swimsuit or bathing shorts. We provide you with a thick bathrobe and towels. Your time spent in the sauna and outside bath, will be combined with social time in one of our lavvus (Sami tents) for gathering around the open fire. In the lavvu you will be served a hot meal. In the period May-July there is 24 hours of daylight. Instead of ending you luxury treatment, you can choose to stay at Camp Tamok overnight, in a lavvu (Sami herdsmen’s tent) or in the timber cabin. The sauna and hot tub facilities will, after being warmed up, keep warm until the next day. Experience the never ending Arctic summer day.
