The canoeing trip takes place in the picturesque Signal Valley on the beautiful river of Signal. You will paddle downstream, passing the steep mountain Otertind, a signature peak in the area. The river is not dangerous, so the adventure is suitable for absolute beginners to canoeing. Thorough instruction will be held before starting. Two guests will paddle each canoe, wearing life vests. English speaking guides will accompany you all the way, making sure you are safe. Due to topography and low water depth, reduced speed is kept in some parts of the river. The total downstream distance is approximately 10 km. Some parts are wet area where you have the possibility to spot a lot of different birds. There will be a rest break on the river bank half way. A hot meal based on local traditions will be served in the wild, including coffee or tea brewed over an open fire. At the end of the journey you reach the Lyngen Fjord in the North-Atlantic Ocean.
